Account Executive – Nova Scotia

We are looking for someone to join our fast growing team as an Account Executive.
Event Temple is a high energy, fast paced and quickly changing environment and our goal is to take over our entire market from hotels, wedding venues, restaurants, convention centres and more. We’re laser focussed on winning above all else.
We have a very small and tight knit team. We are extremely transparent with one another and value results, empathy, analytical thinking and humility above all else. You’ll be getting the real startup experience of working directly with our VP of Sales. This is a remote role open to candidates based in Nova Scotia, Canada.
We are looking for a tech-savvy, intelligent and highly motivated person who is ready to begin a challenging and rewarding career. Day-to-day, you can expect to do the following:
-Engage with customers over email and phone to create raving fans
-Qualify leads and convert leads to demos
-Be comfortable following up with new companies interested in Event Temple
-Conduct product demos over conference calls with prospective clients
-Manage all communications from the moment they enter your pipeline
-Be an Event Temple ambassador and build lasting relationships across the industry and develop our growing community
-Consistently manage and maintain a sales CRM on a daily basis
– Sales experience in a hotel is a requirement. Experience as a Hotel Sales Director preferred, experience as a Hotel Sales Manager, in Sales and Catering or SaaS sales will be considered
– Proven sales abilities – build rapport, close deals, effective follow up
-You must be a great listener with a true passion for helping our customers
-An excellent communicator with business-writing and phone skills
-Take initiative and solves problems proactively
-Ability to work independently
-A history of winning and overcoming the odds
-You seek out ongoing self-development
-Clarity of personal goals and purpose in relation to your sales career
-Software Sales Experience
-Familiarity with CRM software like HubSpot
-High degree of professionalism and ability to think analytically while remaining humble, focussed and driven
